Trouble is a board game with a simple concept: Be the first player to send your four game pieces all the way around the board, moving spaces determined by rolls of the dice. The "trouble" of the title comes when an opponent's piece lands on a space occupied by your piece, thus sending yours back to the beginning. Parents will likely remember the game from their youth, or at least remember the game's signature gimmick, the pop-o-matic dice roller. The Pop-o-matic is a dome-shaped clear plastic housing for the dice in the center of the board game that automatically tumbles the dice when pressed down and released. This feature, plus the board's plastic slots that hold the game pieces in place, make Trouble a perfect travel game--car or boat motion won't upset the game's progress. It is indeed satisfying to press, slap, or pound the pop-o-matic. It's strong enough to withstand the frustration of the losing player(s). The game's simplicity makes it easy to jump into without elaborate explanations or practice games for new players, but it's utter lack of strategy will likely limit interest to just a few rounds. --Porter B. Trouble Game no Trouble
We bought this to keep in our house when my 6 year old granddaughter visits. She already has this game at her house. She loves the game and it is an excellent one to teach children the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat of board games. Simple to learn. Fun for all to play for two to four players. Self-contained, portable and Inexpensive.

Hours of fun
My five-and-a-half year old son received this game as a Christmas present and, hands down, it beats anything else that he received. He wants to play it night and day. To stir things up a bit, we've created our own new rules, such as "you have to move backwards for 2's," or "you can switch places with another player for 4's" and it makes the game even more fun and interesting.

Trouble ... it's an oldie but a goodie!

great for young players!
I bought this for my 6 year old for Christmas. Based on the same strategy as "Sorry", this game is easier for the very young to play. The game is intended for ages 5 and up, but I bet most 4's could play and probably even 3's would enjoy it as it could be used for learning to count, number recognition and color recognition. The dice popper is hard to push sometimes, but an older player could assist hand over hand. Overall, great game for family time!

Balderdash
This is a great game to play with friends and family. Some of the answers your neighbors and friends come up, well, they may become notorious. The larger the group the more fun you will have! FYI - keep a box of tissues available, at some point you will all laugh so hard you will cry! Then you can take that item off your "Bucket List"!

HILARIOUS!!!
This is one of the funniest games out there. Sitting around at family gatherings, the board games always come out. My sister in law showed up with this one, and all the others got put away.

By the time you read this, you already know the premise: everyone writes their definition to a word, including the dasher, who knows the real definition, and then you vote. Voting for the right answer gets you points, getting others to vote for your wrong answer does too.

This is a game that can be played for hours, everytime, and is pretty much a sure-fire good time. The best definition we ever had was for the word succubus. I'll let you guess the real definition in case you get it in the game, but my SIL's friend's definition was 'What you yell at the bus driver when he pulls away as you're running to the bus stop.' Now, even when we're not playing, just yelling, 'SUCCUBUS!' is good for a laugh.

The rules are brutal, but the rewards are worth it in this card game that works a bit like Scrabble. Although there is a solitary version of the game for one player, you can play with up to eight. Cards containing letters of the alphabet and special combinations of letters are dealt in increasing number each time the dealer completes a round. Once you've collected your share, you can discard and pick up a new card with each turn. The object is to turn all the letters in your possession into dictionary-proof words while leaving one stray card as a final discard. You want to be the first to accomplish the goal, of course, but there is a scoring system that makes the play competitive for everyone. A+ for FUN!
I bought this game for family game nights over the holidays. It was an absolute hit. I was a little leery about purchasing a card game based on internet recommendations alone, but rest assured this game is well worth it. If you like word games, Quiddler is sure to be a winner. The game is very simple to learn and doesn't require a long time to play.

Great gift
I bought this as a gift for my 9 year old daughter and we love it. We've played it together a few times and it's a lot of fun and it's great for learning. Playing the game with me is helping her learn bigger words and reinforcing words she already knows and can spell. I would recommend it to any one that wants a fun and educational toy for their child. It's also a great way to spend quality time with your child as they learn and have fun.

A favorite card game
We have been playing Quiddler for years and are always introducing friends and family to this fun game. I purchased 4 to give out for Christmas gifts. Even sent one to Italy this year. It's a nice balance of luck and skill. If you like scrabble, you'll like Quiddler. It's a shorter, less intense game and helps everyone work on word skills.

It's okay...
This is a very durable, well-made game with the whimsical candyland castle and the oversized gingerbread persons.

The game is played by placing the tokens into the chimney of the plastic candy castle and then using the candy cane lever to access the chute which spits out a token, one by one. Each player has a cardboard gingerbread man with four indented shapes (each shape is a specific color).

When it is your turn, you pull the lever and, if you have that specific shape indentation on your gingerbread board, you keep it and it's the next player's turn. If you do not need that piece, you place it back into the chimney and the game moves on.

This is a good, quick game for a child but my sons (age 5, 3, and 2) are quickly bored with it. The only thing they really enjoy doing is pulling the lever (so much that I'm afraid it'll break!). I really want to like this game but if the kids are bored, it's not really worth the purchase.

LOVE IT!
Love this...I have 2 and 3 year old boys and they love it. The older boy learns turn taking, waiting and shapes while the younger boy learns colors, simple shapes and loves pulling the candy cane. It stores nicely and easily. We've played it almost everyday since Christmas.

Wonderful variation of a childhood game
We bought this for my 2 yr old daughter and 2 yr old niece and they absolutely love it. It teaches them their shapes and colors and they love to win. I grew up playing candy land the board game and I think this is a cute way for my girls to grow up with candy land.

Fun but didn't last
Game worked the first day. Second day worked sporadically. Now does not work at all. Tried inserting NEW batteries but still does not work. My kids liked it so we're simply exchaning for a new one. Hopefully this one does not fail. Amazon's return policy on defective items could not be easier.

My boys' favorite gift this year!
I am SO glad I bought this toy. My boys ages 6 and 3 1/2 both love it. It is wonderful for cold or bad weather days when we are all inside and they start getting hyper. Now instead of getting frustrated, I just say "Why don't you go play Hyper Dash?" and they reply "Yea!". They play until they are both out of breath (and then they switch to "micro dash" level - a game option without the running). Although the recommended ages are 6 and up, my 3 1/2 year old does just fine with it. As long as the child knows their colors, they should be able to play. And I'm impressed with how many different options and levels there are to the game. I don't think the kids will get bored with it because it has so much variety. The only other game I have purchased that was this much fun was a dance pad game, and that was considerably more expensive. For $20, this toy is worth the money.

2 versions of Hyper Dash
I bought Hyper Dash for my two boys to play. It broke during the first game and could no longer identify which color disc you were placing it on top of. But it turns out the one I bought at Target does not use RFID to identify the discs. It uses a cheap height sensor spring and each disc is slightly different shaped. It was super annoying because you had to get the wand right on top of the disc so it could tell what color it was. I returned it to Target and was very disappointed. Then I came here to leave a review and noticed this one uses RFID (which DH thought they should have used.) This one costs a bit more than the one at Target $15 vs $20-30 but I'd gladly pay more to have it not break.
