Cute but not worth the $
This product is as cute as it is in the picture; however, there are so many restrictions to the product that it seems better as a decoration than a infant toy. It is also quite a bit smaller than I imagined it to be. Ours arrived dirty as well which is a bit disconcerting. Overall, cute but totally not worth it.

I was excited about getting my 5 month old a Sophie after a dear friend raved about how much her son loved his. Sophie appealed to me because of the natural rubber.
We got our Sophie about a month ago and it has not become the coveted favorite "teething toy" that I had hoped. My son finds Sophie cute and laughs when I squeeze it, but that's about all he does with it. He prefers to teeth on his 2 1/2year old sister's plastic dinosaurs, which I'm sure are toxic beyond belief!
I think Sophie is cute, but a little expensive for a future imaginary play animal.
So some kids love Sophie, others don't, and how can you tell before you get it?
Great Toy!
I received this toy for my 6 month old little boy who is in the full swing of teething. Immediately he grabbed for it and started chewing on the legs and head. He has not put it down all night. It is very easy to grab and hold on to and has a lot of points that probably feel really good on his gums.
I do agree that is seems like a glorified dog chew toy, it squeaks and smells the same...but, the size and texture make it perfect for babies.
Great product, but can't believe its DISCONTINUED?!?
I was a bit hesitant on ordering this because of the cost and a few reviews of it being a glorified dog toy, but it was the best teething toy for my 4 month old daughter. It's soft enough that she doesn't scream when she bites down on it like the other teething toys I have. I have tried every pacifier on the market and can't get her to take one. But this giraffe she can hold it and manage to get it to her mouth on her own. She also loves to "talk" to it, then she attacks it's face or leg. I also like the fact that she's not knawing on plastic or paint. I'm quite disappointed to see that it has been discontinued, so I'm ordering an extra one for back up.

SUPER Soft and Snuggly -- Fantastic Blanket!
This blanket is so soft that my 8-month old would fall fast asleep when I wrapped us in it; so much so that I had to go and buy the baby size for him!!! Now his has become HIS blankie, and mine is OUR blankie! And it comes out of the wash just as soft and velvety as it went in, which is more than I can say for my Little Giraffe blankets! My only complaint, and it's a teeny one, is that there were a bunch of loose threads hanging from the border and I had to snip them all off, but I guess that is more the norm than the exception these days. This would be a great shower gift for any Mommy-to-Be!!!
Nice blanket
We got this as a gift (actually by accident when someone misread our baby wish list and got this instead of the Sleep Sheep) but it is a really nice plush super soft blanket. The very browny sage green doesn't really go with our nursery but it's great for an extra layer when traveling or for a soft surface to put the little one down on
Too thin for the price
I agree that this blanket is very soft. The reason I only give it 3 stars is that it is really a thin blanket. The product description left me believing I would receive a heavier-weight blanket. I have several baby blankets made of velboa. They are a thicker velboa and while just as soft, the heavier weight and plushness of them makes them much cozier. This blanket is just OK when you consider the price. If you want a plush, soft throw blanket that is worth the higher price, look at the Little Giraffe and Barefoot Dreams brands.

Love it!
I'd been using the kiddopotamus sleep bag for my baby girl and loved it. While searching for another one on amazon, I came across the cloud b lullabag on sale and decided to take a chance on it. We live in Wisconsin and have the heater on all the time in winter. I'm always worried about my baby being overheated but this cotton sleep bag is great. I absolutely love it. It's bigger than the kiddopotamus bag so there's more room for my very active little one to kick her legs around in. It's soft inside and she looks adorable in it. The little fluffy dog on the bag adds to the cuteness factor!
Peace of mind for baby's parents
We bought this for our newborn in February when we were concerned about him being warm enough in his crib and were following doctor's orders about no loose blankets while sleeping. He was warm and snug and we could sleep knowing his face wasn't getting covered up. When he got older, we ordered larger sizes. Our son liked discovering the velcro closure at the neckline and would suck on it while waiting for us to come get him in the morning. Washes up great, too. I think this is a good baby shower gift. I would give it five stars if I didn't think it kept him from learning to roll over sooner. The blanket isn't tight around the legs, but the added bulk made it harder to get the momentum to roll over.

Fun for the whole family
This is a fun game or the entire family. No reading is required. It's great for developing memory skills and requires kids to focus and pay attention if they want to do well. Our 5-year-old son had a ball and won the first game we played together and my husband and I enjoyed it as well. We liked that the matching cards are not exactly alike. You are looking for the same main object in the picture, but the backgrounds are different, which makes the game a bit more interesting and challenging than your basic memory game.
Good game based on the great I Spy books.
This is a decent little board game based on the I Spy books that my five-year-old has loved for months. We've played a couple of times and the game is similar to the books in that you're looking for specific small/well disguised items surrounded by many other things. Neither of my sons have asked to play it again, so it's been sitting on the shelf for a week or so, but I'm sure they'll pick it up soon and ask to play. All in all this is a good game if you're really into the I Spy thing, but it doesn't ignite any fireworks or make you want to play again and again.
I Spy...Spy Away!
Our daughter (who's 4) LOVES this game! We also play a little game that we made up: We look at the pictures on the card and say "I Spy..." whatever is on the card. There's quite a few things you can do with this game. We even have the computer game "I Spy Treasure Hunt" that she started playing when she was 3---what a hoot!

Wow what a surpirse!!
I have two grandkids (4 and 2yrs) old. We started playing and I watched as the 'rules' emerged. At first we just matched pieces to the cards, then the grownups started naming what they were looking for, and then my 4 year old picked up on feeling and naming an object before he took it out, and all the while my two year old just kept on picking pieces out and matching them. What a great time we had. We played three full times without either of the kids getting bored. It was fast paced..no time to read the fun facts!! Just keep picking out pieces gramma!!Everyone who has played has had a blast! It definitely captures all levels of play in one game!
One of the best!
This is a fabulous game!! It's simply great fun to try to identify items by touch -- our family was astonished at how hard it was at first, and at how quickly it became easy. In fact, it's so much fun that we usually just play the game for its own sake and don't even keep score, which is an absolute first for this competitive bunch.
One of the best features of The Touch is that there truly is no advantage in being an adult when playing against the kids, and so this is something that everyone in the family can play together with an equal chance of success. In fact, our 2-year old is one of the most eager players -- when it's his turn, we open up the top and he has to find the objects by sight, which is still plenty of fun for him.
We keep The Touch in the dining room and one parent will play a short round with the kids while the other parent is getting dinner together -- it's great for keeping everyone entertained together without involving the tv. Challenging for everyone!
I purchased this game for my 6 year old daughter for Christmas. Everyone wanted to play it. Age is no advantage here. This game is fast paced, different every time and totally fun.
All these random pieces are in the dome,you spin for a card to see what you need to find, the timer is set and you have to feel(not look)for the pieces on your card as well as the pieces on your opponents cards. You have to have all the pieces on the card to keep the card, otherwise your opponent may find the last piece and get to keep your card. My kids love this game, their friends love this game and all the adults visiting us at Christmas loved this game.
In addition, there are multiple expansion sets when you need more challenge which hasn't happened yet for us.

Cute, but ...
I purchased Polly the Porcupine game because I thought it would help my grandson with memory, thinking and strategy. It is a memory game in that the players must remember where the shorter quills are. The player with the shortest quill during each round gets to keep their quill. The one with the most at the end of the game is the winner. My grandson is almost 4. He thinks Polly is cute, but isn't all that interested in the game. She sits on a shelf and he doesn't ask to play the game again. It would be nice if the box had been larger so she could be put away in the box. Her quills fall out very easily. It's all too easy for little ones to lose the quills. His 16 month old sister would be love to play with Polly and would surely lose the quills. One nice quality is there is a spot underneath that keeps the die securely with Polly.

Fun while learning
The game arrived very quickly in perfect condition. We actually bought this one as a gift because we already owned the game and had some friends that we knew would love it. They enjoy playing games and the extended family includes a home-schooled teen all the way up through grandparents who are experienced world travelers, so this was a perfect gift for them. We have played they game in different fashions on several occasion (the game design allows a lot of flexibility in how you play it) and have been impressed that each time we play it learn new things. The ability to play competitively with people with very different levels of knowledge helps keep it enjoyable for everyone, and each time I walk away with a better knowledge of greography and trivia. Great game
All our kids really like this from 2 to 7 years and the parents. Easy to set up and the games move along quickly. Use a plastic bag to store the pieces and tuck them inside the tree when not in use.
Fun 4 all ages
I bought this game for my 4 year old daughter for christmas. Wasn't long and it was at the table and all the adults and kids(ages 4 to 8) were playing. Everyone loved it. Not to often you come along a game that entertains kids and adults. My older children like to see what moves they can make to hook the monkeys on other sticks so they don't TUMBLE. When the kids want mom to play a game this one is always fun and we do a lot of laughing every time we play.
excellent fun for all ages
We love this game, my girls were given it a few years ago as a gift,I wanted one for my nephews 4th birthday and could not find one in stores so I ordered it from Amazon. My girls play with it all of the time, when their grandparents come over Poppop asks to play this, it's funny to watch as they get better at it the different tricks they use to not get monkeys, but then my 7 year old likes to collect them and insists that the one with the most monkeys wins. The colored dice makes it easy to know which stick to pull and its funny how quick they learn to pick from the different levels. It definitely help with counting and eye hand coordination, and its fun. One tip for you once you put it together it doesn't go back in the box, and it is tall, what we did to keep everything contained was put the sticks, monkeys and dice in a ziplock bag, roll it and it fits perfectly in the middle of the palm tree. For less than $15, no batteries needed or electronic gizmos to do the job for them its a fun family game or a nice gift for someone.

I love that this plush toy is environmentally friendly & non-toxic, so there is no concern when the baby touches it or puts it in its mouth. Get a large bib or towel
I was disappointed in this bib. I was thinking it would be heavier, especially for the price. Great idea, but it should be cheaper for what you're getting.
This is the only bib that works!
This is the World's Biggest Bib! All the other bibs are too small. I have tried all of them but none covers the lap and legs and when the messy children are feeding themselves it mostly goes on their lap and legs. It is so easy to wash and dries quickly or it can just be tossed in the washer. It fold so small it can fit in my pocket for on the go and the pocket actually stands out and catches food. This is truly an amazing new product that everyone will just love! TRY IT YOU WILL LOVE IT!
The best bib on the planet
I originally wrote this for the denim Crumb Chum we have, but it applies to all of them.
We've tried every bib out there, and nothing comes close to the Crumb Chum. It is one of the single most useful baby products in the possession of anyone fortunate enough to acquire one -- the luxury sedan of eating accessories.
They are made of the same kind of waterproof polyester fabric that some shower liners are made from, but a bit more lightweight and breathable.
They may cost a little more than basic bibs, but they last a lot longer too, since they don't crack like a lot of the plastic bibs we had. They also probably save far more than what we paid for them in loads of laundry we don't have to do. Mealtime used to mean an automatic change of clothes and an outfit thrown in the wash. Either that or stripping our kids down for every meal. And even if we were willing to get them naked, there would still be a half hour cleaning the chair, as bits of lunch seemed to find their way into every possible crevice. And car seats? Forget it--in the lining, between the lining and the shell, in the seat, under the floor mat, in the doorwell. I think I found a cheerio in the glove compartment once. Eating in restaurants was also tough. We really like indian food and so do both of our kids, but a ten-minute post-dinner ritual of sweeping up saffron rice with a napkin, not to mention suffering under waitstaff glowers, removes much of the appeal of dining out. With the Crumb chum, I have given our 2-year old pad thai at the dining room table and yogurt tubes in the car and walked away unscathed.
They are really comfortable, enough so that our daughter is willing to wear them as an apron or smock for crafts and water play.
They are SUPER easy to clean. Most of the time, I just wipe them down with a sponge, or hold them under the faucet, then let them dry on a dish rack. If they're really goopy, or it's berry season, they can go in the wash (and dryer) with other clothes.
Since they travel so well, we like to keep a couple at home, a couple in the backpack and a couple in our picnic basket for concerts, camping trips, etc. We got them in all the patterns, since our daughter tends to cycle through preferences.
FYI - The manufacturer recommends the toddler size for kids 15 months and above, but we put them on our 11-month old, and though she was swimming in it a bit, it worked great.

great sack
Sleep sacks are the best invention ever. The only reason it lost a star is because the zipper gets caught in the lining too easily. I would recommend a sleep sack to everyone with a baby. My son went right from the miracle blanket swaddler into the sack and he sleeps 12-13 hrs per night.
best sleep bag ever
I got two of them and use them in turn on my baby every night. It's extremly good for the summer season b/c the temp usually drops during the night. With the sleep bag on my little one, I would no longer worry about the open window. Plus it's very big. My baby is always at 95% of length. I got these when she was 8 months and they are still big enough for her now that she is over 11 months. I will continue to use it till it gets cold at night.

Pointelle cotton is too bulky
I have bought nearly every baby sleeping bag on the market. I was initially attracted to this product because it is 100% cotton yet it is 2.5 tog (very warm) for the winter months.
I was disappointed because the pointelle cotton is too bulky to be comfortable. My 6 mos old son cannot easily turn over to his side or stomach with all the fabric weight. Also, the shoulders are too wide, so if he wants to lie on his side, the fabric gets in his way. Just look at the baby on the product picture! You can see that the fabric hangs off his shoulders. Stupid design. Older infants don't lie motionless on their backs all night long. My son woke up every couple hours while wearing this because he couldn't get comfortable.
A better product is the Grobag, which is narrow at the top of the sack and shoulder area. It is a good fit and even the 2.5 tog Grobag is lightweight.

Quiet rattle?
I wondered what a "quiet" rattle would sound like. Muffled, that's how it sounds. Anyway, the rattle is soft, cute and exactly how its described. Its better than the hard plastic ones because babies always end up cracking themselves on the noggin with those. Nothing quiet about that.
Baby Lizy gives it a thumbs up... sideways... down... in her ear! Oh well, so much for asking and infant for input.

It sure is quiet!
This little turtle is very soft and just the right size for little hands to hold. We could not hear any rattling going on, so we took it apart. The rattle mechanism is actually filled with sand, no wonder it's so quiet. I replaced it with a jingle bell from another toy and added some crinkly paper to the head, arms and legs. now it holds my baby's attention!
