It sure is quiet!
This little turtle is very soft and just the right size for little hands to hold. We could not hear any rattling going on, so we took it apart. The rattle mechanism is actually filled with sand, no wonder it's so quiet. I replaced it with a jingle bell from another toy and added some crinkly paper to the head, arms and legs. now it holds my baby's attention!

My grandson loves this turtle, it matches his big one that shows stars on the ceiling at night.

super cute and soft. good size and looks to be great quality, doesnt really rattlle to loudly tho.
