Comforting
My granddaughter is one of those that fights sleep every night. The lights on this turtle did grab her attention for a while and she enjoyed it. Even though the novelty wore off on HER quickly, hopefully for some other child that doesn't fight sleep so much, will enjoy this on a nightly basis. The product was great though. Just as expected based on other reviews - the amber color wasn't the brightest but the blue and green were great.

My son loves his turtle!
I got this my son when he was two. He's four now and we still use it every night. He takes it with him when he goes to his grandmother's house for sleepovers. It is cool to be able to change the colors and the timer is great. This is so much more fun than a standard nightlight. I ordered one for my newborn nephew and my brother and sister in law said they love it. This is going to be my "go to" baby shower gift from now on!

Wonderful gift
I read the reviews for this product on Amazon before I purchased it. I saw the reviews that said the stars were barely visible unless the turtle was placed on a high bureau so I did have some reservations. But I bought it for my 4yr old nephew and he loves it. We snuggled in bed with the turtle right beside us and the stars were all over the ceiling! It's not a planetarium so if you are looking for bright, crisp stars you might be disappointed; but they are fun in 3 colors. I am very happy I picked this toy for my nephew.
